Dr Vijay is an experienced GP who worked in India, UK and now practising in Australia since 2013. He initially worked in QLD then moved to Melbourne in 2014.
His special interest are
- management of chronic and complex diseases including diabetes
- Heart disease
- Asthma and other respiratory diseases.
As he worked in tertiary paediatric hospitals in India and UK, he is able to manage and treat various paediatric problems in primary care.
He performs minor surgical procedures and administers PRP injections to knee, shoulder and smaller joints.
Dr Vijay works with individuals and couples to provide family planning advice. He is accredited with insertion and removal of Implannon ,contraception devices and performs cervical smear.
He is an approved Methadone and Suboxone prescriber, and is experienced in dealing with drug and alcohol addiction in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
He practices with empathy and takes time to listen to and communicate with his patients. He regularly updates his knowledge by reading journals and attending seminars.
